What a combo this is! Our squeaky haloumi is fired up with honey and chilli oil, then added to a pizza with peperoni and some mozzarella for stretchy goodness. Take our word for it, this is a must-try!

Ingredients

  • 2 pizza bases (roughly 20cm in diameter)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups Mainland Grated Mozzarella
  • 12 slices pepperoni 
  • 200g pack Mainland Haloumi, cut into 10 slices
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons chilli crisp (or similar)
  1. Preheat your oven to its highest temperature. 
  2. Place a large non-stick fry pan on a medium heat and add two tablespoons of olive oil. 
  3. When the oil is hot, add the haloumi slices and cook until golden brown on one side. Flip over and drizzle over the honey and chilli crisp, then cook for a further minute and set aside. 
  4. Spread each pizza base with the pizza sauce. Sprinkle each one with some Mainland Mozzarella, then top with half the haloumi and half the pepperoni slices. Drizzle over some of the hot honey sauce from the pan and sprinkle over a little more mozzarella. 
  5. Place the pizzas on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until golden and bubbling.
